Having tapped into the archives of Alvino Bagni and Remo Buti, designers Simona Cardinetti and Christoph Schnug have created the 'Icone' collection. Defined by a series of decorative ceramic objects that merge the original subjects with a new chromatic code, the series presents a reinvigorated aesthetic language that reinforces the expressive force of the items they were influenced by. The 'Cock Figure' is a peach-coloured ceramic character that harks back to Alvino Bagni's collaborations with designer Remo Buti, a leader of the Florence Radicals movement.
