From She's Such A Stud! collection, The Splat is part of a special collection of studs that are created exclusively using solid 9ct gold studio off cuts - all gold is recycled from other projects. The Splat is a forged ball that I smash to create an original, organic shape and finished with a satin polish. This is one of my favourite examples of circular design practice within our studio. They're a beautifully relaxed pair of studs that are fun to mix and match or just never take out. The whole She's Such A Stud! Series includes: The Dot, The Line, The XX, The Splat and The Circle. Solid 9ct gold jewellery is robust with a few tips will stay in great condition for decades. Gold jewellery should be kept in a dry, fabric-lined box and kept out of direct sunlight. Take care to put on your jewellery last so that you aren't exposing it to things like hairspray, cologne, perfume, and makeup, which can all damage this precious metal. To clean your pieces, mix lukewarm water with a mild detergent, clean with a soft bristled brush, rinse and dry thoroughly and finally polish with a polishing cloth.
