Paine’s original acrylic on canvas work used for the design immerses us in "the feelings, the reality, the glory and heartache, the love & disappointment and the beauty of the game." Printed in Macclesfield England, the artwork is reproduced with a good balance of colour between the printed & reverse sides of the silk pocket square to work with any fold. The image is framed by the pocket square’s twin borders of blue and off-white together with navy blue hand-rolled & hand-sewn hem. It is a full-size pocket square (42 x 42cm). 'The Beautiful Game' comes tissue-wrapped in a complimentary Otway & Orford gift box. High-quality 100% Mulberry silk is woven into 16oz silk twill to give the characteristic sheen and cool touch as well as to ensure that the pocket square sits nicely in the top pocket. Silk should always be dry cleaned. Avoid pressing the hand-sewn hem to preserve its distinctive 'shoestring' shape. Made in England.
