'American Patrol' is a unique silk pocket square inspired by one of the iconic aircraft of the 20th Century. It has been created in collaboration with contemporary artist Richard Knight. Richard's original work was created in oil on board and took inspiration from this fighter in its D-Day livery. Printed in Macclesfield England, the artwork is reproduced with a good balance of colour between the printed and reverse sides of the silk pocket square to work perfectly with any pocket square fold. The image is framed by the pocket square’s tangerine pale blue border and yellow hand-rolled & hand-sewn hem. It is a full-size pocket square (42 x 42cm). 'American Patrol' comes tissue-wrapped in a complimentary Otway & Orford branded gift box. AAA quality 100% Mulberry silk is woven into 16oz silk twill to give the characteristic sheen and cool touch as well as to ensure that the pocket square sits nicely in the top pocket. Silk should always be dry cleaned. Avoid pressing the hand-sewn hem to preserve its distinctive 'shoestring' shape. Made in England.
