‘Victory at Last’ is a unique silk pocket square inspired by Aston Martin's win at Le Mans in 1959. It has been created in collaboration with leading ‘painter of speed’ John Ketchell. John’s original acrylic on canvas work used for the design is inspired by the DBR1 of Roy Salvadori and Carroll Shelby, which achieved outright victory in the race. Printed in Macclesfield England, the artwork is reproduced with a good balance of colour between the printed & reverse sides of the silk pocket square to work perfectly with any pocket square fold. The image is framed by the pocket square’s pale green border and racing green hand-rolled & hand-sewn hem. It is a full-size pocket square (42 x 42cm). 'Victory at Last' comes tissue-wrapped in a complimentary Otway & Orford branded gift box. High-quality 100% Mulberry silk is woven into 16oz silk twill to give the characteristic sheen and cool touch as well as to ensure that the pocket square sits nicely in the top pocket. Silk should always be dry cleaned. Avoid pressing the hand-sewn hem to preserve its distinctive 'shoestring' shape. Made in England.
