‘Ride Ahead’ is a unique silk pocket square based on an original 1949 British Army recruitment poster for the Household Cavalry by Abram Games, one of the twentieth century’s greatest graphic designers. It has been created in collaboration with his Estate. Printed in Macclesfield, the home of English silk printing, the artwork is reproduced with a good balance of colour between the printed & reverse sides of the silk pocket square to work with any fold. The pocket square is finished by hand-rolling & hand-sewing the edges to create the 'shoestring' hem. It is a full-size pocket square (42cm x 42cm/16. 5” x 16. 5”). ‘Ride Ahead’ comes tissue-wrapped in a complimentary gift box. High-quality 100% Mulberry silk is woven into 16oz silk twill to give the characteristic sheen and cool touch as well as to ensure that the pocket square sits nicely in the top pocket. Silk should always be dry cleaned. Avoid pressing the hand-sewn hem to preserve its distinctive 'shoestring' shape. Made in England.
