Taking inspiration from the cult-status appellation of Hermitage in the Rhone Valley region known for it's Syrah, this ProTerra Certified soy wax candle has a seductive nose of black cherry, black olive and soft suede that melts into a savoury garrigue and amber base. In the first half of the candle’s life, you may notice a small ring of unmelted wax around the edge. This is completely intentional. It helps moderate the flame and manage heat transfer through the brass. Once the candle reaches the halfway point, the increased warmth from the brass and internal airflow naturally melts the remaining wax, creating a full edge-to-edge melt pool for the rest of the burn. [Please always burn your candle on a heat-resistant surface and allow the holder to cool before handling.] You may occasionally notice a green hue develop in your candles.
