Unisex tie trapper hat hand cut and made from European merino sheepskin (or shearling - depending on which side of the Atlantic you hail from). Garth is a very easy and comfy style to wear, it has a very practical & easy fit, the depth of the hatband is perfect, not too shallow and not too deep - I know that sounds like Goldilocks, but it is so true the depth of the band is such a crucial part of a tie trapper hat !- if is too deep you can't see out and if it's too shallow you are forever thinking the hat is going to fall off or blow away in the wind - but this one is so comfy. The skin isn't too heavy, it is soft and warm, but not too dense and heavy, so it is perfect for every day, walking the dog and generally cold weather usage. This product is made from natural materials; therefore, character and colour variation are expected and should enhance its appeal. Please try to avoid heavy rain, however, if wet, dry naturally away from direct heat. New skin products will have a certain amount of fine colour loose/dust hair and strong colours can shed more, please wear with sympathetic colours until any shedding/colour transfer has diminished. Avoid indigo denim etc, as it will stain light colours. This is a natural product; it will age gracefully over time.
