Taiwanese artist Yuh-Shioh Wong's large-scale abstract paintings, typically rendered in soft colors with fluid forms, tend to conjure atmospheric qualities found in nature. This asymmetric composition features a series of overlapping shapes contained on one side, with large areas of unprimed canvas exposed. In the vein of Color Field painting, the work conflates both figure and ground, allowing the space to appear infinite, extending beyond the edges of the canvas.
