Roby by Glina features a playful robot with a sideways grin. Various metal bits and plastic beads adorn the surface of the canvas. Glina primarily works in oil and layers organic shapes and patterns upon the surface of the canvas creating an image of implied movement, action and chaos. The artist has always been drawn to abstraction as a way of organizing her world while also allowing freedom of expression.
