What it is: A cologne-extrait hybrid (coltrait) with transparent citrus-floral notes and a smoldering wood finish. It is a fragrance that contains the highest concentration of perfume oil, formulated with the most luxurious ingredients from around the world.Fragrance story: 1272 is inspired by The Wexler House in Palm Springs, the weekend home of Perfumehead founder Daniel Patrick Giles. It is a coltrait that captures the freshness and brightness of a cologne with the depth, complexity and longevity of an extrait de parfum. A crisp citrus opening of petitgrain derived from the leaves and twigs of the Peru lime tree marries with the transparent notes of orange flower and verbena. Textural cut hedges and the smoothness of woods softened by the sun are evoked with Haitian vetiver, sandalwood, cistus absolute and moss. To wear it is to inhabit a version of yourself that is faceted and enduring.Notes:- Top: petitgrain lime Peru, Italian bergamot, red mandarin, pink pepper- Middle: orange flower, Indian jasmine, verbena, patchouli- Base: vetiver, sandalwood, cistus absolute, tonka beanHow to use: Spray on your wrists, your neck, wherever you like, and resist the urge to rub your wrists together. As the complex fragrance unfolds, you'll notice that it will develop over time. It can be worn on its own, layered with other scents or sprayed on top of an oil. All Perfumehead scents are designed to play with one another. 1.69 oz. Made in France
