Almost four decades ago in Bergamo, Italy, Alberto and Ezia Pinetti started to build the foundations of Pinetti brick by brick. Their project, which is now in the hands of its second generation-sons Lorenzo and Andrea-has come to represent the finest local Italian craft and leather at its most cutting edge. Illustrative of Pinetti's expertise is the Backgammon set. It's handcrafted in Italy and comprises a leather-covered Canaletto walnut structure, 30 playing pieces, four dice and one doubling cube.
