Many of Pinto's collections are inspired by what brought the founder, Alberto Pinto, joy - be it furniture, nature or the traditional Japanese art celebrated in the Vieux Kyoto line. Each piece reinterprets Japanese ink paintings (otherwise known as sumi-e) through intricate chromolithography on Limoges porcelain. Motifs vary by design, but often reference the Buddhist temples, shrines and gardens of Kyoto.
