Tradition lives on through Poterie d'Évires, as each collection is informed by the rich heritage of its home, Haute-Savoie. The studio refuses to stand still, so the design language is always fresh and new. But while this aspect evolves, the making formula stays the same: the clay is prepared, turned, decorated, fired, manipulated and glazed, using a wood-burning kiln of five cubic meters' capacity and the art of the hand touch. The results-which are only available at ABASK-vary from simple to elaborate, straight to rounded, and are influenced by the landscape, palette, flora and fauna of Haute-Savoie.
