The Puma MB.01 “Queen City” is a head-turning colorway of LaMelo Ball’s first signature shoe that salutes the team uniform colors of the Charlotte Hornets. Ball, the Hornets rising superstar point guard, quickly made a name for himself in the NBA by leading the Hornets to the team’s first NBA Playoffs appearance since 2015 in 2022. As for this shoe, the upper is constructed in a Purple Glimmer basketball jersey-like mesh material from the midfoot to the heel. The front of the shoe features a mesh textile. Unique “1 of 1” branding is found in bright blue on the tongue. The grooved outsole provides traction on the court, and assists with hard cuts, starts and stops. Release date: March 13, 2022
