These boots run large. I normally wear a size 10.5D, and I've found that the 9.5D Iron Rangers fit me quite well. After putting in footbeds, I can also fit into 10D and 10.5D Iron rangers. Though some of these Iron Rangers are factory seconds, there are no considerable flaws on any of them as far as I can tell. For those unfamiliar with Red Wing's factory seconds, they are shoes often sold at a discount for having some flaw, which can range from something minor, such as a welt that has triple stitching in a spot which should have double, to something major, such as a distinct size difference between the shoes. Factory seconds can be identified by a small hole that's punched into each of the tongues.
