Created by Bethan Laura Wood in collaboration with Rosenthal in celebration of the Bauhaus anniversary year, the 'Rhythm' collection merges fine porcelain with a playful jubilee surface decoration. Inspired by the work of the renowned Bauhaus student Anni Albers, who was also married to and influenced by artist and colour theorist Josef Albers, Wood's collection is characterised by a bright, linear motif representing warp and weft threads in a nod to the weaving works of Albers. This white porcelain sugar bowl can be used alongside teaware from the same collection, or independently for equal impact.
