Aiming to make clothing suitable for any situation, Abe melds and transforms familiar women’s knitwear, jackets, dresses, trousers, and blouses into novel and challenging design hybrids that interest visually in 360 degrees. Ruffles, patchwork, and paneling add feminine yet intellectual flourishes to Sacai’s innovative separates.
