Sister by Studio Ashby's foray into the world of textile design was fuelled by the late journalist Jocasta Innes. Up until recently, founder Sophie Ashby and her family rented her former Georgian-era home in Spitalfields, which provided her with ample fuel for her pattern research. This cotton cushion features the Disa print, inspired by the enduring orchids that grow on Table Mountain in South Africa - where her mother is from. It's intricately woven in jacquard looms with high-density yarns, with each roll taking up to one full day to produce.
