Our Abbey dinnerware collection is handcrafted at a small studio in Toki city, whch is located in the Mino valley in central Japan - a region famous for its ceramics. Each piece has been moulded from clay into a unique organic shape, which is then decorated with intricate hand-painting and hand-carving. Finished with a rust glaze, influenced by the strong earthy tones seen at White City House, these techniques are what make every single piece from the Abbey collection as distinctive as it is remarkable.
