Philanthropic lifestyle brand, Let's Do Better, has joined forces with Brooklyn-based interior design incubator, Lichen, to encourage the necessary reform of how Black History is taught in the American School System. Together, they hope to raise awareness on the inaccurate and incomplete narratives of Black history, and through product, shed light on the true Black experience. The Truth Included Bookends are inspired by American artist, Donald Judd's Backward Slant Chair and are available in five colours. Each one is handmade in Brooklyn from 100% American maple wood. The set includes a selection of five pivotal Black History books that are excluded from the majority of American School curriculums.
