The Stutterheim story began in 2010, when founder Alexander Stutterheim came across his grandfather’s raincoat languishing in a barn. Inspired by its design, he created a coat imbued with the same simple elegance as the original, suitable for both women and men. He also developed a unique philosophy: rather than fight the melancholy inherent to darkness and rain, Stutterheim advocates embracing it as an essential part of the human experience.
