Behind The Leach Pottery is a collection of artists dedicated to building on Bernard Leach and Shoji Hamada's legacy. To do so, they look to the past; they work in the original St Ives studio in Cornwall, source their clay from nearby St Agnes, and honour the signature Standard Ware styles from the 50s, 60s and 70s. These prepping bowls are hand-thrown and reduction-fired with an iron oxide glaze that provides the blue tint. They nest together for easy storage and feature one-of-a-kind colour variations indicative of their placement in the kiln.
