The Men's Vans Old Skool AllOver Checkerboard Sneakers in Black/True White takes a classic high-end sneaker silhouette and dresses it in an eye-catching design. The Vans Old Skool in an All-Over Checkerboard colorway combines an iconic skate shoe with the Vans signature black and white checkerboard print in different sizes across the entire shoe. The upper is crafted of sturdy canvas to offer both durability and flexibility, while the toe cap is reinforced to help ease wear and tear. Canvas overlays with smaller checks adorn the base with its large checks. The heel counter has a graphic pattern of midsize checks. The branded insole, padded sock liner, and flat laces also feature a checkerboard pattern. What we find most delightful about this sneaker is the way the checkerboard pattern in different sizes continues over the midsole. This vulcanized construction is coated with larger checks at the midfoot and heel and smaller checks at the toe. The only non-checkerboard aspect of this sneaker is the black rubber outsole.
