This sneaker is named after Bowie's breakthrough album, which was released when he was 24 years old. The upper of this slip-on David Bowie Hunky Dory Vans Slip-On 47 V DX features fuzzy black, white, and gray–checked faux fur covering the forefoot and the heel. Rich goldenrod suede makes up the side panel and collar and evolves into a midfoot strap branded with "David Bowie." The white side walls feature a red Vans "Off the Wall" license plate and are underscored by a brown rubber outsole. Our favorite detail on this striking shoe is a secret pop of aqua blue hidden inside: the color of the sock liner and the dual-branded insole.
