The Pullman wagons are very famous not only among railway fans. This special limited edition watch (only 100 pieces are produced) is made out of mahogoni wood the same wood as the wagons themselves. It is presented in the railway museum „Heizhaus – Strasshof“ in Austria. The numerals are based on to the wall clock of the pullman wagon 4032DE. The colors of the dial are based on the specification of the railway museum and are very elegant and classical: gold, shinny yellow and steel blue. Wood adapts to its ambient climate. In humid environments or in direct contact with water, wood absorbs moisture and expands. Therefore, you should always remove the watch or glasses when showering or swimming or during other longer contact with water. Short term contact with water is harmless. If necessary, you can care for your wooden watch or wooden glasses with a dirt and water repellent oil (eg. chamomile oil or linseed oil).
