A collaboration between Zanat and Milanese design studio Palomba Serafini Associati, 'Riccio' evokes the tactility and charm of the hedgehog from which it takes its name. Carved from solid walnut wood, and presented in a rich walnut oil hue, the design fuses a rounded form with a juxtaposing surface of fine hand-carved grooves. Doubling up as sculpture and bookend, this multi-purpose piece is an object of beauty in its own right that adds an organic presence and sense of groundedness to rooms.
